I think I hear a rattle when my window is down but could be road noise from tires?
I think I hear a rattle when my window is down but could be road noise from tires?
I have Michelin PSS's which I read can be noisy, but I have never experienced tire road noise to know if they are just loud. The noise sounds like a low whistle and is only heard at a certain point while speeding up until drowned out by the engine rev sound. The noise also can only be heard when the window is completely down. If I crack the window like an inch I cannot hear it. Thoughts? |

I don't know about you but rattling vs whistling to me sound totally different?
Maybe get a bud to ride with you and double check.

Yeah most times I hear it is when going through trees on both sides which creates a tunnel effect.
