I think I hear a rattle when my window is down but could be road noise from tires?

I think I hear a rattle when my window is down but could be road noise from tires?

I have Michelin PSS's which I read can be noisy, but I have never experienced tire road noise to know if they are just loud.

The noise sounds like a low whistle and is only heard at a certain point while speeding up until drowned out by the engine rev sound.

The noise also can only be heard when the window is completely down. If I crack the window like an inch I cannot hear it.

Thoughts?

intake? wind noise passing over/ though your mirror? Nah. probably RBs.

Either that or the nut that holds the glass window is loose and needs to be retightened.

I don't know about you but rattling vs whistling to me sound totally different?

Maybe get a bud to ride with you and double check.

Honestly when I'm driving windows down on the highway and I'm right by a tall median wall, I get the echo and hear noises that make me wonder. But to me this sounds like intake...

Yeah most times I hear it is when going through trees on both sides which creates a tunnel effect.

Well, I don't think you have anything to worry about. If you can hear some things while idle or low speeds then post a video
