Liquid Moly vs. Amazon Basics oil comparison



I don't believe this is an indicative of how the oil performs with our engines, but the results are definitely very interesting.

My only gripe with LM has been how loud the lifters-tick got after using it. I plan to test other oils and see if the issue is consistent.

Pour test is stupid. Engines suck oil through the pickup like a straw, hence we have pumpability tests. That video is clickbait trash.

FWIW, Warren is the blender for SuperTech, the Wal-Mart brand of oil. Huge company.

To add, the load test is also very basic and does not represent protection against other variables like oxidation/contamination deterrent.

Great entertainment wise.
