Liberty Bell Auto Protect Warranty - Any experience?

Recently picked up an 08 e90 M3 with 69k miles and decided to poke around for extended warranty rates.

Liberty Bell Auto Protect is offering me a very competitive quote on a 3 year 60k mile plan. For what seems like a very comprehensive coverage. The reviews seem good around the Internet but I'm a bit skeptical of their apparent 4 month internet presence.

Has anyone used them for their M3 or any other vehicle? Is there anywhere else I should be looking?

Any company willing to sell an extended warranty for an 11 year old M3 is likely a scam.

They were asking 3100$ for 3 years 60k miles. No deductible. The fact they've only been open for business for 4 months is what is keeping me from signing up.

If its too good to be true, its not true... scam likely!

20K miles per year and no deductible? That's basically unheard of - insurance companies include deductibles in almost every case to keep people from filing small little claims over and over.

I have CNA on my X5, a very reputable 3rd party warranty company, and all of their plans include a deductible. The more you pay, the lower your deductible. This seems way too good to be true and like you've said, they haven't been around long enough to feel safe with.

The warranty company is important but the type of warranty you choose is more important IMO. If you're looking for real comprehensive coverage, make sure you're purchasing an exclusionary warranty and not an inclusionary warranty. Some of the best companies out there offer both so make sure it's clear which specific warranty your pricing out & possibly purchasing.

When I was researching this I saw a ton of providers with negative BBB records and then 22 gleaming review newbie ones that basically were a sales front for the providers with bad reviews. One question to ask them is whether they actually provide the insurance or they're just a third party to the actual provider.
