Yes another price check thread

Hi Guys,

I have an opportunity that might require me to sell my E90 M3. Here are the stats:

2011 E90
97.5k miles
Space Gray
Comp package (early build, no M button oddly)
idrive delete (single hump)
Slicktop
6MT
Rod bearings done at 95k
TAs done but I don't remember when. I have the records but not handy.
Excellent maintenance history and records
No car-on-car accidents but previous owner hit a ladder on the highway and had to get a few things done to repair it
Basically stock except a tune, x-pipe, the non-lighted zhp shift knob, and black kidney grills
Gray leather with power seats (non-heated)
Everything works

Any idea what this would command on BaT or something similar? Miles are a little high but it's a desirable spec. Thanks for the advice. Planned to keep the car a long time but this opportunity is really good so I'm considering it.

I would say 25k...the pros are it's 6MT and rod bearings done. The con is the mileage and the gray interior.

There was one with black interior, Dct similar mileage space gray that sold in early Sep for 23k on BAT.

If it is truly a ZCP then its worth 35+ with current market trends. You aren't going to find too many 2011 E90 comps with 6MT, let alone single hump. Throw it on BAT

You didn't get an M button because that requires iDrive to configure M mode.

I think the real answer depends heavily on condition, not just spec. I would say listing in the mid 30's is certainly reasonable but I think you'd have to expect to negotiate lower based on mileage if you wanted to sell it.

If the spec and records are good but the condition needs some TLC expect that to reflect in the price.

It truly is spotless condition-wise. Previous owner was meticulous (big BMW enthusiast and I believe he was president of the local BMWCCA). I've only driven it about 2.5k miles in my 9 months of ownership. I had the RBs done right away with BE bearings but the Blackstone was good anyway. I still have the old RBs and the old actuators. Records are meticulous. It took me over 2 years to find this spec (ZCP, Sedan, 6MT, slicktop and no idrive). Only thing that needs attention are some typical paint chips on the hood. I still don't know if I'll be able to bring myself to sell it. I would probably be looking for $35k+ to make it worth it to sell. Otherwise I would keep it. Thanks for the feedback and I welcome any other opinions. Looking at the production numbers I've seen I believe there were less than 50 of this spec in any color brought to North America.

$35+ may be a bit optimistic given the miles, but as the Comp/Slicktop combo is very rare you may just be able to make that. If you plan to sell then now is the time, as I doubt you will find a more favorable market any time soon. Good Luck!

My thought is if you find the correct buyer, you should get between $28-$35K. It is hard to judge without pictures.

Also, I feel like we are on the short term down swing for these cars as we reach fall and winter. It is possible you could get more in the spring time, I dont know, just a thought.
