2011 E90 M3 Price Check

Hey all,

So after owning my E90 330i for a little over 6 years now, I think it's about time to get myself into an ///M. I've been looking for a 2009-2011 (LCI essentially), E90 M3, Alpine White or Space Gray (preferred), Fox Red interior, DCT, Nav, Premium, Competition, Premium Sound, Comfort Access (not sure if this came with premium package or not), preferably certified if possible, and lower than 40k miles.

I stumbled upon a One Owner 2011 M3, Space Gray, Fox Red, DCT, Nav, Premium, Competition, Premium Sound, Comfort Access, and 30k miles!

Current asking price is $44,995, but it's not Certified. It does have factory warranty remaining and if I'm reading the carfax correctly then it should go until November of this year. I have the option of getting an extended warranty through BMW at dealer cost (used to work at the dealership) so I'll probably go down that route as well.

What's the fair value for the car? I'd probably have to fly up there to get it so another $200-300 flight ticket. I was thinking 42k out the door? Or am I pushing my luck?

I've attached some pics below. Thanks ahead of time!

Asking price is fair. Be surprised if they let go for much < 44.

that car is $36.5k-$39k at wholesale. you should be able to get it for $42k for sure and I would not pay any more than that.

Very nice looking car and color combo. $43-$44k seems to be a decent deal for what you're looking at.

is the roof wrapped, or did they put a cf roof on there? 42-44k is my best guess

Car looks to have lowered suspension as well and missing a cupholder

No way they will go below $44k.

Wow, great eye. Seems like this car was used and abused. I'll keep looking!

Dat ZCP suspension, doe. Maybe.

OP, I would have them take the replacement cost of the cup holder out of the price as well.

OP I wouldnt discount it based on appearances. Out of all the things missing, a cup holder wouldnt be too much of a concern...if there's any way get a PPI done or have somebody you know closer go take a look at it?

Do a PPI. FWIW back in May 2014, I paid ~$47k for a 2011 E90 ZCP DCT in the same color with 22k miles and pretty much the same options and remaining warranty but it was not modded (looks lowered and the roof). My guess would be low 40's like say 42-44k max.

Surprise, surprise. Another "how much is this car worth" thread where we get 20 different opinions in 10 different posts.

A car is worth how much you will pay for it. How bad do you want the car? If it's what you are looking for, and you are okay with the price, go for it. Peoples opinions don't mean shit.

If you are just looking for a bunch of people to chime in on what they paid for a baseline comparison, then I'll play:

Back in November I paid $44,500 for a 2011 E90 IB fully loaded ZCP w/ 43,000 miles, so I would say the price is on par with what I paid. I have seen similar cars go for less, the same, and higher, but it was a price I was happy to pay and can live with, so I have no regrets. If I asked 10 people if I got a good deal, 1/3 would say I paid too much, 1/3 would say it was just right, and 1/3 would say I got a great deal.

Welcome to the internet where anyone can ask whatever they want.

If he didn't want people's opinions, he wouldn't have created this thread.
