I am in transit to the west coast, but I can't track with my VIN on WW's site. I wonder if there is another ship on another carrier headed over too.

my VIN is not working for this site so i guess my car is not on it...

my CA told me the car arrives SD port on the 5th

how do I find out which vessel my car is on?

Most likely you're on an NYK line ship. For that you can check out this web site to see if your vehicle is on one of thier lines:

It's not as easy to find your vehicle on this site. Usually NYK goes to SD and WW ships go to Port Hueneme so if your CA told you your car is arriving into SD than you're car is on an NYK line.

I'm actually picking up from BMW of San Diego. I'm a recent transplant from there and that's where I put in my order. Plus it gives me a chance to drive the car back from San Diego so I can put some miles on it and have less time before I complete my break in. We should get together when our cars come in.

I was trying to find it on their website but wasn't having any luck. It is a bit delayed as it was support to leave port in the UK on the 16th on it's way to the US.

YEAH!!!

Any guesses on how long it will take after 10/6, when the cars will start rolling into dealerships. My dealer is in Seattle - he gave a generic 10-12 day estimate.

My dealer in S.Cal says it shouldn't take longer than a week to get to them. I'm not sure for Seattle. I would guess it would take a little bit longer. 10-12 days is a safe estimate. Don't worry, they'll give you a call as soon as it hits thier lot!

Once it gets close to portt there is another website that tracks it. If you check out 'the ultimate tracking guide' thread there is a link to it. I'm at work right now on my PDA so I can't do it right now. If you find out please let me know.

Just took delivery at Sterling in Newport. Having OCD for the past few weeks, checking status and losing work/sleep here at m3post was worth it!
