Anyways the e90 is a great car. And if i had a family etc. i would probably look into a trade. Good luck and im sure someone will come along
Coupes and Sedans with the same options are going for similar prices in the used car market.

Filters: "Used" "2008" "Manual" "Under 15k miles" "Any distance"

Sedans: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...=1234050862866

There's a couple coupes listed in the hi $60's. I think we know those are unfairly bringing the averages up.

Empirical evidence:

These are some of the most idiotic, mal-informed statements I've seen on this board. Maybe I should have just posted "inside" the M3 forum.

Anyway, the last M3 Sedan was the E36 released in '97-'98. Guess what, no additions to the coupe; therefore, NO DIFFERENCE IN MSRP!!!

1998 M3 Coupe: $39,700

That was an E36 and in 1998.

M3 Sedan

For insurance purposes, we call it a sedan.

Starting at $54,500 MSRP

M3 Coupe

Racecars shouldn't be confined to racetracks.

Starting at $57,500 MSRP
I'd also rather have a coupe than a sedan. BMW realizes most people in the market will pay a premium for coupes. That's why they charge more (335i coupe vs. sedan) even though they're probably pretty similar in price to make. IMO it's not possible to identify that ONE PART is the only reason between the pricing of the M3 coupe/sedan.

Good luck with the trade...

cant believe this has become a coupe vs sedan thread... i guess there must be someone out there who realises that the sedan would be more useful to him/her for practicality,etc... so while most people would still go for an m3 coupe (coupes far outsell the sedans), there will be the select few that want a sedan instead of a coupe.

if the op is willing to pony up the slight difference for the cf top, thats a pretty fair trade.
