Brake Job For E92 M3

Hey guys,

My car just hit 61,000KM and the brakes are starting to squeak. I was told that usually with these cars, the same rotors are good for another set of brake pads... Is this true? Do you guys think I should go with OEM BMW parts or is there something better out there for around the same price or less? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It is definitely possible the rotors are still good for another set of pads. It all depends on their condition which your installer should be able to identify for you. (Are you experiencing any pulsating in the Steering Wheel when braking at highway speeds?)

Brake pads would depend on your preference and need, the OEM pads are made by Textar which you could probably purchase elsewhere for less than BMW or you could go with a good performance brand such as Stoptech, Hawk, etc.

You can do some research on this forum for peoples reviews and thoughts.
