Time capsule pricing but looks like it just drove out of the showroom.

Curious if you haven't asked EAG to make you an offer, this is right in their sweet spot. Might save you from having a thousand people offer you $35k and ask about rod bearings.

GLWS.

Total time capsule. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it brings at least 50k. 60 might be a stretch but never hurts to try! Would be an awesome BaT candidate. GLWS!

Appreciate the comments. I think the doubters should educate themselves and do a search before commenting. Try to find an LCI E92 M3, 6 speed, ZCP, carbon roof, stock, no issues, under 20k miles for less. If you find it share it.

Everyone "in the know" is a critic. FWIW I do think you'd have an easy time getting rid of this for top dollar on BaT. The forum of know it alls isn't a good sales channel for these types of vehicles. The forum is a much better channel for 100k mile cars for $22k with peeling M stripes on the grill and a blower that was recently and hastily removed :-)

Carvana sold one 2 months ago, nearly same spec '13, in Alpine white with ZCP + 6MT + carbon leather + individual audio and 12,xxx miles on the clock, for $48,995 + $599 shipping. I know because I almost bought it. And they are a dealer. A private seller can expect to get around 10% less than a dealer as you are unable to offer financing, and your buyer audience is around 10x smaller than a dealer.

You can ask anything you want for your car, and I hope you get it. There's no question that it's beautiful. But thinking it's worth anywhere near $60k today is a pipe dream. My guess is you'll get somewhere in the $46k range. If it was an individual of some sort, then you'd definitely be in the ballpark.

If you truly want north of $60k I'd park it for 5 more years.

My 2c.

Clearly you didn't read the ad and didn't run the vin. It's not a ZCP and it's an automatic transmission.

Instead of being trolls to me, go call every dealer that's asking over $70k and tell them you saw this car and they should sell it to you for that price.

Anyway, I buy and sell a lot of cars. I have never sold one on a forum because it's full of people who tell you your car is worthless and you are nuts for asking anything over what they are willing to pay even though they have no intention of buying it. It doesn't matter about the car or forum, every one is the same. Yet somehow I sold every car very close to my asking price by listing it on Autotrader. Go figure.

I'd argue the 1 of 82 rarity far outweighs the 6MT in value but to each his own, and it hasn't moved in a couple months.

I'd also argue that sometimes with rare cars like this, collectors would rather buy from the 1st owner instead of some random dealership(especially one like Caravan where it is hard to establish any history of the car).

Hence why cars on BAT sometimes go for more than dealerships. I also absolutely despise buying cars from dealerships. The one I bought my frozen black E92 from tried to tell me with a straight face that rod bearings don't need to be addressed on our cars.

Then why are you posting it here?

Second, the person who sent that link isn't the same person who referenced Carvana above.

Great car. GLWS!

Everyone complains about the listing price until it's time for them to get an appraisal for their own car from FB or the forums. Then they complain when someone undervalues their car.

If you want top dollar for your future sale, kindly shut the fuck up.

OP, GLWS. I hope you get every single penny!

Appreciate it. This forum is the worst with the trolls. I put my 6k mile, 6 speed, immaculate, 2008 E92 M3 on here for $45k and was soundly laughed at just the same. I sold it for full asking price after it didn't meet reserve on BaT from someone on BaT who didn't want to pay the 5% fee.

The idea that automatic cars are worth the same as a manual one is laughable. Go look at any 996/997 Turbo, 991 GT3, any Ferrari, BMW's etc. to see that automatics sometimes sell for half the price of a manual car.

The same goes for non-ZCP cars vs. ZCP.

Anyway, if anyone's interested just PM me. I listed it here because it's supposed to be a fan forum so you never know. Those who have no appreciation for why certain cars sell for more than others can always educate themselves by doing some research. I don't go around trashing people because that's not what I'm about. I am in absolutely no rush to sell this car. I just got another toy and wanted to free up space but I am not giving it away.

I would also point out that it's very rare to sell a car to Carvana if you want top dollar. Selling a car to Carvana (because let's be honest, the seller probably got $35-40k for a $48k sale price) is usually good when you want zero hassle, or there is some gremlin you don't want to disclose to an individual.

That white car had 3 owners as another data point, as well as looking like it was leased to start. Either way points towards your car probably being able to fetch $50k+ without much headache, or more for the right buyer.

Well said OP. ZCP and 6MT bring all of the dollars. There is no question your spec and that mileage are highly valuable. Your price is definitely in the ballpark IMO.

Re: BAT. Its fun to watch and it's helpful to establish value. But I would never sell a car on there. Too much risk IMO.

Once again, GLWS.
