Now just pull the entire assembly toward the front of the car. There are clips that snug fit it to the weather stripping on the bottom rear edge. Pulling with a little force will free the assembly and let you move it away from the car. Remember these clips when reinstalling the assembly. It'll never fit right without those little guys in their right spot.
Now with this area open, go back to the driver's side and move the rubber downspout out of the way. Down here you'll see where much of the wiring enters the car. Don't worry - we're not scraping our hands up trying to get to that. We're going inside the car with a coat hanger to push through a free opening and grab it from inside the engine bay once it pushes through.

Thanks so much for this. I hope this gets a sticky. I will be referring back to it when my car gets here. Now for the wait...

Thanks! I'll add more today.
*edit* sorry about not updating. It was 90 in Phoenix, the pool was 87 and the rum started flowing freely. I'm off to the east coast now. Hopefully will get all the wiring photo'd this weekend. Last edited by PhoenixRising; 03-17-2013 at 12:42 PM.. |
