Submit your trim preference for E92 AW / FR
I'm currently considering aluminum trim since it seems to bring an elegant contrast with FR. However i haven't seen this combo in real life so wanted to get a general consensus on what other forum members think is the most appealing trim choice for AW / FR (not extended )
- brushed aluminum - carbon leather - standard trim Thanks for your opinions |

I would definitely go with carbon fiber.. Of course this is a personal decision and when it comes down to it, the car should be made to your own likes and dislikes.

Carbon Leather is an exclusive ///M option while the aluminum trim looks almost like the trim you would find in the regular series BMW's.

Carbon leather.
But CL and AW/FR is very common. You could try to switch it up

![]() Seriously, I'd go Aluminium - because it is different - but you need to go with what you love!

As others have already indicated, CL = M exclusive....
If you are trying to achieve unique options vs. the typical dealer spec'd cars, try the Individual program. Otherwise, you'll still be one of 10K+ built the same way.... Last edited by ZCPM3owner; 06-24-2010 at 10:58 PM.. Reason: CL: not CF Doh!! |

I have fr extended leather with al trim. I think it looks great. I bought off the lot this way but I probably would have odered it with the cl trim. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I would not buy the car without extended leather. Despite the fact that many feel it's too much red.
