Submit your trim preference for E92 AW / FR

I'm currently considering aluminum trim since it seems to bring an elegant contrast with FR. However i haven't seen this combo in real life so wanted to get a general consensus on what other forum members think is the most appealing trim choice for AW / FR (not extended )

- brushed aluminum
- carbon leather
- standard trim

Thanks for your opinions

I would definitely go with carbon fiber.. Of course this is a personal decision and when it comes down to it, the car should be made to your own likes and dislikes.

Carbon Leather is an exclusive ///M option while the aluminum trim looks almost like the trim you would find in the regular series BMW's.

I say CL as well -

I'd also say it does not matter what anyone else thinks to be honest - you're the one that has to look at it everyday.

As others have already indicated, CL = M exclusive....

If you are trying to achieve unique options vs. the typical dealer spec'd cars, try the Individual program. Otherwise, you'll still be one of 10K+ built the same way....

I have fr extended leather with al trim. I think it looks great. I bought off the lot this way but I probably would have odered it with the cl trim. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I would not buy the car without extended leather. Despite the fact that many feel it's too much red.

Carbon Leather.

If you want to be different, then I'd stay away from AW/FR. That's the most popular color and combo by far.
