Your car is 6MT? 6MT diff bushes are quieter than DCT. Delrin would be a lot louder on a DCT car.

It is. Dct is geared shorter I take it so it's spinning faster at same speed?

Not sure what is the reason. Maybe just the way DCT works?

Hi everybody, i have a doubt. I have been recommended solid subframe bushings and purple powerflex bushings for the diff. My doubt comes to whether instead of putting powerflex, go to the strongflex brand. So in strongflex what do you recommend? The yellow ones or the red ones?

I use my car about 6 tracks a year more or less...

Thank you all!

Looks like strongflex is an eu brand so you won't get much feedback from our side of the pond. General consensus over here is powerflex purple is the best upgrade over stock without going too aggressive. That said, if you're 6mt I just did delrin and find them to be very tolerable

I would not recommend the powerflex after having used them. I’m solid now, but I thought the ecstuning poly option looked better. The powerflex bolt sleeve is too narrow imo. Mine tore out with track use.

I need recommendations for a webcam for my windows laptop that is better then the low grade built in.

Every review on Amazon says something negative on these Webcams.

Hope someone here is happy with something i can get on Amazon.

Powerflex Purple is 80A hardness. PU is PU, just pick the equivalent from Strongflex.

If you have a 6MT you can probably get away with harder diff bushings cos 6MT whines less than DCT.

The PU may be PU, but the sleeve diameter chosen by the manufacturer affects deflection and tear out, and how much vibration damping occurs.

Yes agree. That's a design thing. I was just answering the question on Powerflex v Strongflex equivalent.

We can’t really compare 80A powerflex vs 80A strongflex (assuming they have an 80A option) without knowing, as they will perform differently given different dimensions.

I guess my argument was why someone would go with poly over delrin though. Based on how 6mt poly diff has been reviewed vs delrin, sounds like the noise difference is marginal. I would guess that translates to dct too, poly and delrin being close in volume on the dct.

Seeing this, you make it very clear to me that the equivalent of the purple powerflex in the strongflex brand are the red ones.

Thanks a lot!

Anyone driven both the rt660 and ecf? Sounds like ecf is definitely harder wearing, wonder if it's close in pace to the rt660?

Delrin vs Powerflex on my (DCT) car was a massive difference. The car was basically undriveable with the delrin. No way to talk to the passenger at highway speeds. Powerflex was much better but I have the same opinion as Bartledoo that their design is not great, mine also ripped apart.

I have ECS poly now and they’re as loud as the delrin was. Really annoying.

Hadn't heard this re: diff bushings. What's the consensus for an HPDE car? Stay stock?

no, solid is the way to go. people say powerflex purple is less noisy for the diff. subframe can be solid without extra noise.

I am definitely not running solid diff mounts, my car is still driven to the track and will see infrequent street time. What's the downside of solid subframe and stock diff bushings? Snapping diff bolts?
