I’m running the powerflex tuneable engine mounts now and they are great, little if any added NVH, and I’ve tried many different mounts over the years!
My experiences are captured in this thread: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1256404

Overall not my favorite track but I would rather go to Thompson than NHMS any day.

As I was researching tire sizes I went down the rabbit hole a bit on gear ratios and speeds in each gear. Based on what I see from a few online calculators, I should be able to hit just shy of 71mph at the 8400 redline in 2nd gear (based on the 6mt gearing and 285/35/18 rear tires), but consistently maxed out at 67.5-7 mph (based on Garmin and phone data). I did hit the fuel cut 1 time so I don't think its a matter of me backing off consistently early each time, though I suppose it is possible.
Is there something mechanically I am not (or these calculators are not) considering?

Ordered front and rear Core4/MSI hubs with pressed in 14mm studs. Also ordered their tapered lugs. Part of my planned 100k mile service. Excited.
Who here is running SPL rear camber arms? HP Autosport hasn’t been able to get even oem rear camber specs and Harold suspects I have a bent arm someway/somehow. I have the rear toe links with eccentric lockout already and I like them. Seems like I should get these, too.

I also have full SPL front and rear. I did the rear primarily for the ability to have full spherical on both ends of each arm.
If I ever needed to fit a tire wider than a 295 while running aggressive ride height their adjustability might come in handy but as of now they are set to oem length. I do my own alignments and turning the eccentric bolt is just easier. |

I don't think there's room under the stock fenders to fit wider than a 295 up front regardless. Maybe if it's a tire that runs narrow like the AR1? Those 315's measure closer to the average 295 then other 315's I've seen. |

I was speaking to the rear arms since you can grab more camber with those upper rear arms than from the eccentric bolt alone.
Also, you may want to compare your experience to those who have successfully fit 18x11 m4 gt4 wheels in the front of their cars. In almost all cases the front track width needed to be adjusted through an SPL/turner LCA. |

Regardless, I had full SPL arms as well and also did my own alignments. The fronts made minimal difference in aiding tire fitment. Adjusting the lower arms pushed the bottom of the tire out to create more camber, but clearance to the fender was my issue. Adjusting the lower arm had little effect on that area. So it will largely depend on where your clearance constraint occurs. I had much better luck by adding camber from the camber plate, and eventually slotted my strut tower for further adjustability. YMMV. The fitment of M4 GT4 wheels on the F8X chassis, which I have now, you do require special arms up front to do so, so I understand where you're coming from. |

Meh. I didn't see much point in keeping a thread up that would never be updated. And since it was posted post build completion I didn't find it offered that much useful insight as to the process of building an E92 race/track car.

[QUOTE=tsk94;30201588]I didn't realize you were speaking to the rear, as there was no specific reference to just the back in your post.
The part where I referred to getting the arms for spherical on both ends and preferring to adjust camber via the eccentric bolt wasn’t as clear as it could have been. |

There also seems to be enough of shield to protect the steering tie rod end from direct heat. All in all I'd say they look like good value for money. |

.
Can you take a picture of the 315 contact patch? While I like the extra tirewall hight, I am not sure you are getting a bigger cross contact patch. The tire looks pinched a bit, raising the edges off the ground. Could be just the picture. What is the rim width? 315 will be harder to heat up accross to 130-150f . Have you take across temp measure coming off a hot lap? will be interesting to know how effective that size is. |

No one can take you seriously with those tires though. 888s?
