I have an E90 Non-Comp, stock suspension. What else would be required to get to make the fitment and ride height be acceptable when adding ec7 19s? just spacers and lowering springs? would a zcp e90 suspension be acceptable alone?

Hi there,

We have both square and staggered 19" EC-7 fitments that would be a complete direct fit on a car with stock suspension. No spacers necessary for a flush fitment. However, lowering the ride height from stock would help remove some of the wheel gap if that is your personal cosmetic preference.

Definitely! This car is running an aggressive square wheel setup in terms of effective offset front and rear. Here are the details:

Front:
18x10" ET25 EC-7 wheels in Race Silver
275 Nexen Tires
15mm front spacer

Rear:
18x10" ET25 EC-7 wheels in Race Silver
285 Nexen Tires
20mm rear spacer

For suspension they are running a KW HAS Sleeve kit.

We generally don't recommend running a staggered tire fitment on a square wheel setup as you lose the ability to rotate wheels and tires between the front and rear axle. The spacers used here might also cause rubbing especially when lowered as they are quite aggressive.

The KW HAS kit limits inner clearance in the wheelwell so a front spacer will definitely be required with these wheels. You may not need the 15mm that he is running, but it will require at least a 5mm spacer to clear the HAS kit in the front. Alternatively, you can use an 18x9.5 ET22 up front to gain the additional inner clearance needed for the HAS kit.

As a small OEM upgrade, is 19x8.5" ET35 for the Front and 19x10" ET25 for the Rear possible?

In the end it gives just a extra 0.5" for the rear. Shouldn't change stock car behavior?

Hi there,

When upsizing wheels and tires, we recommend keeping the factory stagger difference between front and rear to maintain the original handling characteristics of the car. If you increase the stagger difference (upsizing the rear wheels while maintaining the same sized front wheels) you will be reducing the handling balance of the car, which results in increased understeer characteristics compared to stock.

With that being said, for an OEM+ 19" staggered setup, I would recommend the following fitment:

Front: 19x9" ET28 or ET30 with 255/35-19 tires
Rear: 19x10" ET25 with 275/35-19 tires
-Direct fit.
-Available in ARC-8 and SM-10 designs only.
-285/30-19 rear tires can also be used to mirror M3 GTS fitment.
OEM 245/35-19 front and 265/35-19 rear tires can also be used as a direct
fit.

With a 19x9" ET28 or ET30 (depending on wheel design) front and a 19x10" ET25 rear, you can run 255/35-19 front and 275/35-19 rear tires as a complete direct fit. If you would like to reuse your OEM tires, you can also do so with these wheels as a direct fit, as well.
