I Havent heard AAs exhaust in person so I cant comment on it but I have heard Gintanis exhaust in person. I've been in Niteriders car several times and I have also driven his car. I must say his is one of the best sounding M3s I have heard, period. It doesnt compare to any car, it has its own distinct sound. It also adds very good power when compared to a stock M3. Good luck with your choice.

I'm not biased towards the Gintani (at least not yet ), but when I research and read about the sound of the full Gintani, people always seem to praise the sound like it's a "must hear sound".

At first, I was all over the AA......But the decision has been starting to tip over to the Gintani.

I'll give my final decision some more time, just so I don't make a mistake. Thanks for your advice!

I know it is not listed in your poll , I have Remus race with catless AA X-Pipe and connecting pipes which is working great for me.

The video is not good but it least it give you an idea. I am free tomorrow after 3 pm if you wont to meet and lesson to it in person let me know.

Gintani's full catless setup sounds the best out of any full exhaust setup I've heard. Now for daily driving, the AA would be a better setup, but for pure sound the Gintani takes the cake IMO.

Awesome vid QTRM3!

Thanks for the valuable offer. I don't think I'll go for the Remus since it's not a full system. I know that it'll connect to the AA x-pipe, but I'm very picky and prefer the full system to be from one company. I won't meet up, but if I ever do decide, I'll PM you right away my friend.

Thanks so much for your kindness. It means very much.

My goal is pure and simple. I'm looking for the best, raw sound out of the two. If the Gintani has it, that may be exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks buddy!

since this is an exhaust topic so i thought i'd ask...
if a person doesnt want to go for a full exhaust systmems which include the cat deletes becasue they still want to pass emisions and inspections, what is the next BEST option?
would that be an xpipe and axleback exhaust?

I can tell you ONE major thing about the AA that I have heard from 3 different tuners here in Canada... (for those that care for more than just sound) There's a reason why not all SS exhausts cost the same.

The BUILD quality , fit and clamps are the best they have seen. This coming from 2 dedicated BMW tuning places (and they have put on many other companies exhausts) and one other aftermarket tuner.

To the poster above... My drone range is 1500 to about 2k with 6mt which is not bad because its so low down.

Yeah, I saw your fantastic pics of the E90 M3 with the full AA system. It looks brilliant!

Btw, I'm very big on quality, especially when it comes to my M3. I haven't seen enough upclose pics of the Gintani, but from what I've seen, it looks way more simpler than the AA. And in a way, the AA design looks somewhat complicated...

I dont have an M3 but my buddy has an M3 with the Gintani full system and it sounds really good. I was very impressed with the welds and craftsmanship of the exhaust.

Thanks man! This decision is tougher than ever!! There seems to be no hands-down winner out of the two exhausts.....

So far I'm hearing very much about the Gintani sounding very aggressive and mean. Anyone want to describe the sound of the AA compared to it? I mean, is the AA louder, more higher pitched, more exotic sounding? Which exhaust note would impress the "car crowd" more than the other?

What!!!! It's a TIE for the first time in this thread! 20 against 20!

Let's see if the Gintani will take the lead for the first time since its been the "underdog" all along.

it's complicated because of the ncc, which is a major plus IMO. Drone sucks

Yeah, and I'm also pretty sure the AA weighs more than the Gintani also.

I think that Gintani's focus when making its exhaust was to get the absolute most power and best sound. And I think AA's focus was to get a great sound without causing serious drone, and still make pretty good power.

But that's just what I think...
