e93 Dinan Exhaust w/ Turner Test Pipes
Finally got around to installing my Dinan Exhaust and Turner test pipes and shot a quick video as a reference for those considering the setup. (watch in HD)
I am absolutely 100% satisfied with the setup. It does NOT drone, but is plenty aggressive. The exhaust gets very aggressive when you really push it without sounding raspy. I will post a full review later and take fly bys and rev videos when its broken in. Full details in the video description. The car is on the stock tune at the moment and the exhaust has under 100 miles. Cold Start & light revs. Last edited by ///M3THOD; 05-18-2013 at 02:37 PM.. |

Thanks for the kind words. I think the setup lands in that elusive area of being aggressive without being obnoxiously loud. There's a definite power increase and I am not even tuned yet. The revs rise and fall faster as well.
There's no drone present even under load in the upper gears. You can also manage to drive the car in a way, that should you require it to be quiet for some passengers, it can be somewhat discrete. My problem with crazy loud setups is that they sound great, but you can't shut them up when your not out for a quick blast for entertainment purposes. |
