wheel bolt option?

Hi guys

I wanted to get a new set of wheel bolt and trying to figure out what's the best. I do want to track some next year. Can you guys make recommendation? OEM is $5 a piece. ECS has their own which is 10.9 grade for $3..

Realistically, both OEM and ECS should be fine.

But the most important question is: Is it worth saving a mere 40 dollars on what is arguably one of the most important safety items on the car?

I would be buying OEM BMW or a tested motorsport version of a wheel bolt or wheel stud/nut kit. Not worth crashing your car, other's cars, or killing yourself when your cheap wheel bolts shear off.

instead of chinese made aftermarket, you can get european made OEM versions (rein or febi iirc) to save $ from Genuine BMW.

Found it:

Garage List
If you get spacers, they come with longer wheel studs included. Look into the Future Classics Spacers from IND.

Cheers

If you’re getting stock length lug bolts then definitely BMW OEM. If you’re getting spacers make sure to ask for the manufacturer and material strength. I’ve used Turner wheel spacers for at least a decade and have had zero issues with their longer lug bolts on the street and track.
