After playing with this thing a bit more I can't wait for GT5. Hopefully there will be copies for people who didn't pre order. I will check the superstore - thanks
Try moving arcade machines. I have a golden tee and a big buck hunter in my basement and me and friends almost died trying to get them down the stairs. I'm dreading the day I move.

But will it not make me suck less at these games?

Yep! Just like in real racing - if you throw enough money at it - it will make you faster!

I know enough about that - I had three pinball machines and a golden tee myself - realized quick enough better to pay someone to do the lifting that does it for a living!

I've looked everywhere for one of those damm logitech steering wheels and can't find them. Is there a serious back order? My playseat is on the way and no wheel Does anyone know where you can get these things?

Jay, if you are ordering a cockpit, will you be selling the stand? If so, I'd buy it - a smart investment seeing how quickly I go through coffee tables My current winter set up is pedals and wheel attached to a coffee table in front of a 100" projection screen.

I may consider selling the stand - it looks like the cockpit could take up too 8 weeks though I am thinking of the vision racer if it takes less time but I want the rennsport one!

The more I use the stand the more I like it - not sure the wife likes me monopolizing the couch though!

Thanks! This is what I ordered directly from the Fanatec site:

1 x RennSport Wheel Stand
1 x Porsche 911 GT3 RS V2 Wheel - Clubsport edition - US
1 x Porsche wheel Shifter set (not pictured back order)
1 x ClubSport Shifter Paddles CARBON for Porsche wheels (not pictured - back order)

I believe if you order the Prosche 911 GT3 RS V2 wheel - Clubsport edition (includes the pedals), it now includes the shifter set. (they raised the price a bit to accomodate but it works out to be a little cheaper when its included in the Clubsport edition. (shipping on the items in stock was quick, however each piece came individually - setup was easy too)

The stand is actually very sturdy and highly recommend it. I am a rookie when it comes to wheels and video games, but I love this thing!
Just ordered the 911 GT3 RS v2 CS wheel with the stand. Backordered of course, but can't wait.

Is there anyone I can get the Rennsport stand locally? I think I'd just go with the logitech wheel....$500 on a wheel doesn't make sense as I'd play this game sadly only 2hrs per week.

If I can get wheel + stand, better than the logitech within $500 I'd do it..any suggestions guys? I'm more of a n00b with games nowadays than with the cars..lol
