wouldnt you have to put a significant amount of cash down to get a 995 payment? I was just looking for my bro, and a new M3 w/ 10K down on a lease is like 1600 a month... This is a steal if im not wrong!

I would think you could easily find one for 1600 with nothing down. 1600 with 10G down is crazy...Might as well hop into a 911. SHould be abel to find those for that kind of cash.
That said...YES, AWESOM3's lease is a very good deal for a 22 month lease if you factor in what a new one will cost you. The 5G or whatever you negotiate with him will be not far from what your upfront costs would be on an M3 with $0 down. And under 1000 taxes in for an M3 is very fair...and you are getting winter rubber that you can ether use, or sell. |

And you base that on what? At 8.25% interest rate, I had to put down 25K to get a $840 monthly payment (including taxes). There is no great deal on M3 in Canada for some unknown reasons.

Just to clarify that with current lease rate of 8.99% a similarly specced new car with $5000 down leases at $1750 per month taxes in before any capital cost reduction (discount) @20k per year over 36 months.
So this is a pretty good deal -- get into an M at around the cost of a 335i. |

So let me clarify a few things for some people here.
Last October I leased a 08 M3 Cabriolet for 915$ tax in with 6000$ down. The reason why I was able to get such a low payment is because Bmw Canada went nuts between September all the way through December if 08. They were discounting them like crazy! I got 21000$ off the car. 21000$!!!! There's no way you can get into an M3 at that price now. They run anywhere between 1700$ to 2000$ a month. In late 2008 the economy was down the drain, the car industry was in a downfall and Bmw found themselves with HUGE inventory of M3's at the end if 08. So my suggestion to anyone looking for an M3, don't even think twice. Give the man his 5000$ and take the 995$ payments with a smile on your face. Cause deals like that likely won't ever come around again. |

Exactly.
So with approximately $5,000 discount (we all know that there are dealers out there who will discount a good 6% on new M3's). You should be able to find one for $1600 nothing down on a 39 month lease with 20k km...on the bmw.ca configurator, my spec M3 (executive and Mdrive) ends up being $1623 taxes in with 5G down (what should be the discount off MSRP) on a 39month lease. All I'm saying is that 1600 with 10G down was a horrible quote. Still.....Someone jump on this car...at under 1000 it is a steal. Like I said before...even with 0 down, your initial upfront fees are thousands. This car is basically going to save you 600-700/month off a new one. Quote:

Posted this 4 months ago but was not too motivated to sell.
Now have my sights set on a new ride. This lease has 18 months remaining @ $995 per month taxes in. Car has 21k and is good for total 60k which leaves tons of available mileage. Covered by BMW excess wear and tear package. Fantastic condition. See initial post for details. Require $1800 cash down. Email vik2004zn@yahoo.com |
