Want to buy individual amp for my 09 e92 m3. This is my old one, it got water damaged, if you guys know where I can fix it, I really appreciate it! I opened and checked it doesn't have any rust or damaged showing. [IMG][/IMG]

Mine got water damaged also. Light static, popping sounds. Some speakers/sub/tweeter doesnt have any sound. Any advice?

Yes, open the unit and there will be two boards. Small one and big one. The big one is the amp and music processing. You will see 6 or 7 little chips on one side of the board. Get some electrical contact cleaner and a toothbrush. If you look at the legs on the chips you will probably see corrosion bridging the legs together. Use the contact cleaner and toothbrush to clean the chips and free them of corrosion that is essentially shorting all the chip legs together. This is what worked on my amp that was chilling in water because of a body shop. I attached a pic of a chip after cleaning. They all look the same.
