Appreciate the feedback.
I tend to agree with most of the comments - especially that a forum tends to be one of the least favorable places to sell a car. Cars and Bids or Bring a Trailer is the alternative to Carvana in my mind, but the mileage is on the border of being desirable vs. not to those communities. |

You're missing the middle ground which are the cars.com, autotrader, cargurus - those sites get tons of hits from normal buyers who don't know what rod bearings are but might see something interesting in their search for a 3 series. You might have to spend $200-300 for listings, but at least you'll open yourself up to a broader market. BaT is only worth it if you have extensive documentation, great photos and are willing to wait. Usually if they accept your car there is a several week waiting list because of how they cluster their inventory and active auctions.
