I have a G1 and I love it. I will be doing some DYNO pulls in the next few weeks. I have seen a 625 at a local meet and it is much louder. The owner could not believe how quiet the G1 was compared to his. I do know the belt that came with the kit slipped like crazy and I could not get full boost but its an easy fix. If you buy either you should be good to go. If you do the install yourself change as much as you can while its apart. For some reason after my install, I had to replace the Idle Control Valve, Fuel Pressure Sensor, and the Fuel Tank Breather Valve. All these parts are common to fail so might as well replace while its apart.

So you can run the 94mm pulley with a 91 oct tune ? Any word on E85 tunes, kits ?

It looks to me like ESS mislabeled the 96.5mm 91 octane dyno from the first graph when they added it to the 2nd graph.

94mm is for 93 octane only.

E85 files are planned for Dec '20, we'll make an announcement in a different thread when details are available.

If I were in the market I'd get the G1. It's smaller and lighter than the previous version. More efficient and quieter

As a side note, you could not pay me to run E85 on any of my cars.

Why not ? Inconsistency of E85 or what other reasons ? I had an Evo 8 RS with a 25G billet wheel with supporting mods running full E85 and it put down great numbers and never had issues. I’m currently running the AFD system and also no issues, I really want to get the G1 but with E85

Driveability issues, E85 being inconsistent, fuel system not designed for E85.

ESS is the way to go regardless of E85/91/93. They've been around a long time and their tunes are spot on.

If you run E85, go with a tank of 91/93 every 3-5 tanks of E85 and you wont have to worry about E85 in your lines/system issues.
