Like this? That was an April fools prank we made a few years back.
That was brilliant I remember you guys posted a video as well.

I would do this if I had the money. I absolutely love the way the M4 looks but hate the way the S55 sounds and delivers power.

Having done an S65 swap already I can say It wouldnt be terribly priced but you would need an entire e92 for a parts bin for the swap assuming you wanted it to be OEM like.

I personally would drop an S55 into an m235i with the m235i racing bodykit or wait for an m2.
i think you have one of the coolest swaps around. the wagon s65's are cool and all, but i already have a secret crush on the 1m... a 1m with a s65 just seems like a fantastic combo.

That's not ballsy, its stupidity. I am not saying the new M is better, but this makes no sense.

Imagine not thinking to put a supercharger on the S65 at the same time you swap it.

If the F80 came with a 4.4/4.6L S65, I'd 100% own one today. They look great and have a great chassis, but I cannot love S55 (turbo feel, sound). So while this swap makes little sense, I do love the idea of it!

Some dude did it flawlessly. S65 w/ DCT and full functionality as far as DTC & MDM. It was on Jay Lenos garage I believe.

Might as well go straight to S85 V10 with DCT in an F8x M3/4. I'd buy that!
