Lost Main Key?

Hello guys, i cant find my main key but i have spare. So if i get a new key would it hurt the car? I heard that factory keys are programmed to specific vehicle new made one might not be as accurate?! Is that true? Please help

If you get an original key from the dealer and have them program it, it will work like the original key.
