Aftermarket Seats - What are my bracket options?

Hi guys,

Trying to understand what my seat bracket options are out there? It seems like the macht schnell is a popular option?

I currently have Sparco Circuit II, sparco side mounts, and sparco sliders ready to go. Will be running the OEM belts for now until I get a roll bar to do harnesses.

Advice? Input? Recommendations?

Brey Krause with factory sliders. Everything else is mediocre compared.

i've heard this is the way to go. my oem seats are manual sliders, so the transition should be easy when the time comes. i still need to load crap behind the seats, so sliding ability is a must.

It's truly the best option. Butter smooth with OE manual sliders.

Totally agree...besides the butter smooth OE sliders, there is no guessing with centering the seat as well with the BK mounts

I have BK mounts for my Sportsters, in working with Ian, I was the first one to have them for this combo. In order for them to sit centered, you'll have to make adjustments with a grinder and have two of the same mounts face the same way for each side. If you don't they sit more outwards than inwards.

Brey Krause products are outstanding. Once you get the brackets, you will see that their machining and finishing work is top-notch. I have their harness bar and lap belt brackets in my Corvette.

Interesting.. Did you remove the OEM parts from the stock seats to transfer over to the BK mounts? How difficult was that and is it easily reversible?

I bought a set of OEM manual sliders off eBay. I unfortunately didn't receive the special key bolts from the eBay seller that are needed to bolt sliders to the mounts. So I still had to take mine apart to reuse the bolts. Outside of that it was a breeze for install and easily reversible.

I even have all the stuff to re use my power motor as well, I bought the switches and wiring to do it but I'm happy with the manual sliders.

The best part about the BK mounts is that there is a place for your seatbelt receptacle which was super important when I was looking for a setup. I'm extremely happy with the setup.
