Would like to get some opinions. I'm driving a 2011 e90 as my daily driver, it never sees the track. I running stock sizes on my ZCPs. I've already replaced the rear PS2s with PSS (still 265) and now the fronts are ready to be replaced. I've read great things about going up to 255 and 275. If I keep the 265 in the rears until they wear out but replace the fronts to 255 now, what can I expect to feel with the temporary 255 front/265 rear combo? Anything or probably nothing. The rears will be replaced with 275 when the 265 wear out. Thx!

Car will be slower but more planted along with better/more steering sensitivity.

Slower?! Yikes, don't want that. Do you think running 255 fronts and 265 rears (temp) will affect steering? Will replace rears with 275 when 265 wear out.

We are talking about such a minuscule difference. So yes upsize them, it's better visually too.

Garage List
If you get too far off 1/2 inch stagger front to rear, your car will intervene more in turns. 255/35 will rub in some cases.

After searching the forums, I didn't think there would be any rubbing in my case ie standard e90 ZCP with PSS. Do you think there will be?

You won't even come close to rubbing.

What about the higher sidewalls? While probably a more comfortable size, I am worried that the higher sidewalls will make the car seem squishier on the track.

You're fine. Running wider front and stock width rear will just make the car ever so slightly more prone to neutral steering as opposed to having a bias toward mild understeer which is how almost every car from the factory is designed.

I have 255/35 blizzaks up front. my car is SC'd so the added weight is probably compressing my springs a little. I rub BAD on full lock to the right.
