CCC to Android Auto - What's the best path
Hey Everyone,
I recently purchased an e92 and unfortunately I bought one with CCC. I made the mistake of throwing in one of those android head units not realizing the audio input is through aux so the quality is awful, plus it definitely fried something in the CCC module and my original car screen menu is now useless. So where do I go from here? End goal is quality audio with Bluetooth or Android auto streaming. I'm thinking just upgrade to cic and a mr12volt kit but I'd like to make sure I do it right. Do I need the emulator if I'm just planning on using the mr12volt input? Will these eBay listings below suffice to start the conversion? Pretty sure I don't have the CD changer in the trunk though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/19634106073...mis&media=COPY https://www.ebay.com/itm/25609204186...mis&media=COPY Thank you for your insight Last edited by itsawrapri; 04-28-2024 at 08:11 AM.. |

I upgraded mine to CIC and it's great. I did the Combox retrofit and it works perfect for my needs in regards to BT.

What do you mean "since the android head unit the original screen doesn't work right" - did you remove the android head unit and try going back to the original, and it doesn't work correctly anymore?

Is this also applicable if my M3 did not come fitted with the external multi-CD changer? My M3 had the one in-dash CD and DVD ccc I drive tech package with premium sound? It’s not clear to me hour it’s explained on Mr12 volt web site.
