▀▄ eas | Ultimate Clutch Pedal - for aggressive driven BMWs
The UCP is an all-aluminum short-throw clutch pedal for modern BMWs designed to replace the plastic BMW clutch pedal arm. Factory nylon split bushings are replaced with self-lubricating bronze bushings designed to last the life of your car. The slightly shorter throw and lower resting point of the clutch pedal arm allows for quicker shifts and gives the car a more-sporty feel. Three over-center spring mounting locations allow the user to adjust the spring pressure for a more positive feel.
This pedal kit was originally designed and developed by racers who wanted more performance and feel from their BMW on the track. Due to the easy install and factory looks, it is a perfect performance enhancement for any sporty-driven modern manual BMW. The “Ultimate Clutch Pedal” is a short-throw clutch pedal made of billet aluminum and 6061 aluminum tube. It fits all manual BMW 3-series cars 2007 and up. Includes (E90/92 and up including F-models) along with all manual 1-series cars and X1 chassis. The slightly shorter throw makes for quicker shifting and a more positive feel. Lower pedal resting location (15mm lower) lines up pedal better when braking and requires less “leg-lift” from the dead-pedal. The over-center spring is user adjustable with 3 settings (Stock-Sport-Race). “Slop” is completely eliminated by the use of precision maintenance-free bronze bushings and stiff billet CNC-design pivot block. Feel is greatly increased due to the elimination of all plastic and flex in the pedal system. Features - 6061 Billet Aluminum Construction - Anodized Black - Pedal Shape Compatible with OEM or Aftermarket Rubber Pads - Self-lubricating Bronze Bushings - 3 Spring Mounting Locations for Adjustable Feel - Shorter Throw Allows for Quicker Shifts and Sporty Feel - 15mm Lower Pedal Resting Location - Includes Hardware and Adjustable Clutch Stop - Easy ~30 minute installation Requires No Modifications or Special Tools Models Supported 2008+ BMW E82/E88 1-Series & 1M 2006-2013 BMW E9X 3-Series & M3 2013+ BMW F30/F31 3-Series 2014+ BMW F32/F33 4-Series Ordering: Phone: You can reach us directly by calling 866.669.0705 to place your order over the phone. Im really interested in this. I get into traffic a lot these days and the overall length and clumsy feel of the oem clutch is really annoying on my left leg. These pedals seem to
a) sit 15 mm lower allowing me to rest my leg a bit lower and have to raise it less b) have adjustable spring locations (is the least firm setting OEM tight or a bit less? or are all the settings firmer and more stiff than OEM feel?) c) reduce overall travel of my clutch pedal depress. Please let me know initial feel of the pedal I'm curious to see if I can maintain OEM "lightness" of the spring… Thanks in advance

Hi
Few questions before making the decision. Does this pedal come up faster than the stock unit when releasing the clutch pedal? Does this unit comes with its own springs or utilize on the existing springs? If we have to recycle the stock springs , I do not see this clutch pedal will help us to have faster shifting times. (We removed the delay clutch spring for that reason in the first place ex.under the DIY section) All I want from this clutch pedal to do is making the M3 to shift like normal 3 series cars. Please advise. Last edited by ruff1017; 02-08-2014 at 09:53 PM.. |

A HUGE benefit is the bronze bushings. Here's a quick exercise: Try moving your stock (plastic) clutch pedal side to side your fingers, there's a lot of slop with the OEM bushings that is cured immediately after installation of the new pedal. Once installed, you'll wonder why 6MT M3s weren't equipped like this from factory.

Thanks for clarifying.
Just one more question, Can this unit shorten the lifespan of the clutch or the flywheel? ( when used properly) Or can it prolong the life of clutch and flywheel? Definitely I like to try this unit and have my own opinion. It looks like a lot of engineering put on this product. Thanks once again, Mike |

There are no negatives after pedal installation. Clutch life depends simply on one's specific driving habits.

Installed the pedal this morning. Installation was farely easy and straight forward. It didn't take much time to get used to the feel of the new pedal. You feel immediate improvement. Much more solid and precise feel when depressing the clutch, smoother and shorter shifts. It's a very well made product.
I opted to leave the spring out. Will have to test out how it feels with the spring one of these days. You can see in the pics just how much lower the new pedal sits now.

Professional installation is recommended, but if you are handy and would like to perhaps install it yourself, need any help or have any questions, email me at ralph.warren "at" cox.net or message me from my Facebook page (Ultimate Clutch Pedal).
