Way cool, Artz, you're a talented guy!

Too bad I have a SkyFi2!! That thing is all over my passenger seat!

Not easy.. I am going to cover my trim in CF next. an aluminum color tho... to save a few hundred bucks. You can get the sheets of it online. I forget where the web site is.

If you guys havent seen some of my work..
Here it is:

Carputer Install in my 2002 330Ci *CLICK CLICK*

(2002 330Ci) Converting your Manual shift knob into an M/// Light up shift knob for $7 *DIY* CLICK CLICK*

My 2004 MINI Cooper S Carputer Project and Relocating all the componets (all Fibergalssed) *CLICK CLICK*

Yes i did hack the MINI to hell.. lol but it was done and done right and looked awsome. Both carputer projects had wired to the cars audio so i can play all MP3s through windows media. In my mini i installed windows media edition (Both cars the laptop was located in the rear) Media edition was cool cause u can download skins and its like a menu u can select media stuff from. In the mini i had Navi on there also GPS program and antena USB cost me $100

Enjoy!

Neato bandito. I would have guessed you were a dentist.

By the way, while you're at it with molds, would you mind making me gumby, pokey, goo and prickle?

I guess they called him Prickle because he was prickly. Goo looked like, well, a glob of goo.

weather has been holding me back lately because i have to use a dremel to sand down the rough fiber glass i made. the 2 warm days we had i was busy lol. Ill get a chance when its warm again to go outside and do it. I dont have the proper ventilation to do it inside my house, everyone would probably die from fibers in their lungs lol.

I have that same xm unit. I'm not happy they got rid of the "orange" color that the previous Roady's had! Are you going to run all your wires under your new tray thing?

This is really cool. How did you remove the wood trim from the center console. Does it snap up and off or did you have to disassemble the console?

I'm sure you already considered this but was there any space under the original ash tray to bury the XM unit enough to keep the cover?

Look forward to seeing the finished product!
