It actually works off watch time now. So people need to actually watch your video instead of just clicking. It's amateur entertainment relating to BMW's...fun stuff and some information people might find useful....which from my views, watch time, subscriber increase, and comments....98% of people enjoy watching them and request more videos. I appreciate the explanation and now understand you are doing this just for fun. I did not know exactly how the utube pay works. I don't pay much attention to utube since I don't use it for my daily mindless entertainment -- I get that from the 3 BMW forums I belong to. I do use utube sometimes for BMW repair DIY and sometimes it is useful.

I don't have cable...just Netflix and Hulu. I can't stand mainstream anything so I only watch what I buy so YouTube becomes a source of entertainment for me....but also a place to learn. I watch all my DIY's on YouTube if they are posted. But it's also a place to find mindless low budget entertainment. Not saying I provide entertainment....I just enjoy making videos and I know not everyone is going to like. I saw a video the other day of 289 people who disliked a video of people providing for the homeless. So my videos....I expect a lot more dislikes!!! HAHA!

I watched a couple of his videos out of curiosity. Yea, this video is pointless to me but who cares? If you don't like it just don't click on his posts. He doesn't have to create content appealing to everyone and it's not like he's flooding the forum with his videos. If it gets to that point of self promotion for commercial purpose I am sure mods will chime in.

On a related note, I thought I drive like a dbag until I moved to south Florida and now I am like a driver on a learners permit (who religiously uses turn signal).

Thanks for clearing that up...you hit it right on the nail. I was merely explaining what I had on and what the Finland guy obviously saw me like. Took me 5 hours to put that 1 minute clip together! All in good fun.....and I thought my wife knew what i douchebag was! HAHA! that just added to the silliness of the video!! Thanks for watching man!!

I make the video for fun as a hobby. I guess more of challenge to see how far I can take it. She'll be in the videos more. People seem to like her so far. Definitely better than looking at my ugly mug!!!

Yeah the video is pointless. Just a gag video people I think way too serious. And one I put in way more time than I should have! But it's just for fun. And it's not like I joined the forum just to post videos. I only started post videos like a month ago and have been on the forum for years. I typically put the videos in the video sections. This one I didn't because I thought it was a funny topic. And....i think we all can be douchebag drivers in some way shape or form sometimes
