Explain to me how either of these plays were hockey plays, or that the hit Wingels (3rd line plug) delivered to the head of Marner (the Leafs' leading scorer) wasn't dirty?

I'll happily put Brad Marchand and Nazem Kadri in the same 'dirtbag' grouping. Please scour the internet and find where I in any way, shape, or form defend Brad Marchand and his style of play. Both Marchand and Kadri are total scum bags on the ice, I don't care how many goals they score.

People with mentalities like yours are why the National Hockey League has become the No Hit League. Most people can at least differentiate between a hard-nosed hockey player (like both of these "dirtbags"), and a total plug who has no other duty but to go out and potential injure others. As scummy as the plays in question may have been for either player, I'd take them on my team over a Matt Martin or Cal Clutterbuck any day.

I watched that 3rd period--Vegas is not a super skilled powerhouse but they are consistent and take advantage of any mistake. Both those last two goals were big mistakes. Quick should have had that 2nd goal..for a playoff that was a softie. And that third one was complete defensive breakdown.

I was playing soccer then met my dad's new GF. I got home and wife usurped the controls. I walked into bathroom and saw my McSorely jersey sitting their and it clicked: KINGS ARE ON!!! I hustle the remote from the wife, click over just in time to see that 3rd goal go in.

Marleau played his best game of the year tonight. Glad to know the series is going to be at least five games long. Maybe now that Kadri's coming back Marchand will stop swinging his stick at players like it's a baseball bat
