I just posted a review of the RS-4 in the NT-01 thread. IMHO, it's the best value if you're looking for something that will last longer than the NT-01 and not much slower.

I ran them at Buttonwillow a few weeks back and was about a second slower than my best time on my old Zestino Gredge tires (140tw). My last track day was at Willow Springs but I haven't been there in two years so I really don't have a recent time to compare against. The big test will be Auto Club Speedway. I've got a lot of time there and it's probably my best track. |

Unless you can get them for cheaper then the NT01, I don't see a point using them to be completely honest. You're either stuck to running 265 square or 295 square (95% of people couldn't accommodate this). Or running a 265/295 stagger. The 265's run quite a bit smaller then a 275 NT01 so it's not ideal. Lap time wise they are very similar to the Nitto's. Wear is slightly worse. They provide quite a bit of audible feedback for a tire in this category, again good and bad. Very stiff sidewall, so turn in response is good, but adds a lot of additional stiffness to the suspension setup. Braking traction is worse than the NT01's, ABS would kick noticeably easier. My 2 cents Last edited by tsk94; 04-09-2019 at 11:48 PM.. |

Typical tourist day. Turn on subtitles for additional fun. (I was bored)

I surprisingly haven't outgrown the OEM calipers yet so I wanted to ride those out until the funds $$ clear up a bit
Did PFC08 all around (ss lines and motul 660) on RE71r's, felt good and lasted 4-ish track weekends? Maybe more? Front OEM rotors started to show some stress cracks so I replaced those with the Stoptech aero rotors, and went to DTC 70 pads Still on OEM rotors and the same PFC08 in the rear, now on Toyo RR and no issues doing time trial sessions and the car feels really good. 2-3 hot laps max, or when I'm out on an open session I'll usually call it quits 15-ish minutes in

We ordered a handful of these for stock at Malek@MRF ... Plug and play awesomeness. We bought for resale but I don't think I can resist keeping one for myself.

From SoCal testing these nankang tires have more grip than nt01.
They're available here but they're price gouging. If I'm paying the same price I'll pay Cañada than these fucks. Like stern said they're awesome tires and he destroys the ring, granted different type of track vs our local hard on everything type of tracks lol
