This was posted in the E9x M3 group on Facebook. The guy who built the cage responded with some of the same type of response as their FB profile states.

I responded with a decently long post about why a cage in a primarily street driven car is such a terrible, terrible idea. He never replied and the thread died after that.

HANS does almost nothing to keep your head moving side-to-side guys, btw, and can even make things worse in a side impact. You need a Hybrid or some other, superior H&N restraint technology for that. This is why full-containment seats are so prevalent in the everyone uses a HANS by default era.

How can I make this pole position seat sit higher? Currently on recaro sliders and bimmer world mount. Can't change the side mount

We think we've figured out why the seat is too low. We got shipped the wrong side mounts. Face palm.
