I've been following posts on this forum for sometime now. I'm more the kind of person who reads if I have a question instead of posting a question that has been answered 10 times that week. I do this because 9 times out of 10 sometime someone has asked the same question, one just has to not be lazy and use the search function. With that said, I've read the entire ESS post from front to back (52 pages I believe) and I couldn't help notice on that post and here as well that PencilGeek asks an important question and it conveniently gets unanswered.
I am an non-bias consumer at this point, looking to buy what after extensive research I consider to be the "best kit". But, it sure does come across kind of sketchy to me how some of PG's hammer on the nail questions get skipped. I'll repost his question, maybe this time it will be seen in case his last question was simply over looked. "Gasoline (93 octane?) Boost? Water/Meth used (Yes/No)? Any other supporting modifications (exhaust, etc.)" |

Very nice! Love the mani, it's pretty freakin nice! Love that it comes with a 8 rib belt system and colder spark plugs are included in the kit. I am a fan of air to air, so that is also a plus. Dyno looks great, solid AFR graph and you know AA is usually a bit conservative with their power number.
The only thing I don't like are the BOV's if they are the same ones as they used on their s54 kit as they were too small for the job and created a shift lag. Maybe it was the position of them on the s54 kit or maybe 2 of them work much better; we will see... |

Where is the meth tank located? Is the tank the usual AA tank used on the E46?

I can say I have been to Active recently and have talked with several of their guys and was able to get an inside look at the R&D process Active took and see the pieces of the kit as-well as the finished product on a car while I was there. And I can honestly say that I would recommend this kit to ANY of my customers and any E9x M3 owners alike. They have really spent the time to ensure that every detail has been thought of and addressed as well as the quality of parts they use for this kit are of the highest quality and design. Another point to add is AA consistently works to make products better and better over the years and I think a perfect example of this is the success of their E46 M3 Kits and how they have progressed from the first system brought into the market to their current HKS system out today. Having seen the kit in person and know most of the details of the kit off hand, please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Bottom line if we had an E9x M3 in our shop stable, the AA kit would be our kit of choice. |

Hey Members,
Thanks for the interest and sorry for the lack of information. The past couple of weeks have been hectic for us. Andrew was kind enough to chime in and answer a few questions. The Meth is only required for our stage 2 system. Regarding any other questions please feel free to send me a PM or ask here in the open forum. Sparky, Hope all is well my friend. Please be a little more specific so I can get you the answers you need. Here are some photos of LvnLrg's E92 M3 out at this track this weekend. We were able to get the car out for some testing on a 96+ Degree day (Ambient) with the track temps being much hotter. Here are some photos.. |
