We're here!

I'm in a similar area, basically north of where 217 and 26 meet. In the before times I was commuting via Burnside into downtown, but I haven't been doing that for about a year. I've seen a few M2s and 1Ms out in this area, and a few newer M3s, but don't see E9Xs a ton. Usually try to throw a waive out if a do.

I'm trying to decide if I want to put in the work to get the car to where I want it, or if I should just do a bit of consolidation on the car front...

Welcome and congrats on the purchase! I'm up in Camas and there's at least one other e9x (white coupe) in my immediate area and an orange F80 I said hello to recently. I do all of my own wrenching so far but I understand AR-motorsports.com is the place to go, especially for more complicated work like rod bearings.

Take it towards Leavenworth Wash. Very nice drive to a (fake) Bavarian town, but enjoyable nonetheless. And if you want, complete the loop via highway 2.

Thanks. Space Grey Convertible - I have my X5 with this color. It is one of best color I loved. Hard to see a convertible E9x M3 in the Portland area.

love your front lip, however I have a steep driveway, I can't go that much lower.
The wheel and headlights are also great. Is the headlights by Bayoptiks?

I grew up always outdoors - cycling, skiing, fishing, hunting, and hiking in the PNW and now I work inside an office. Love the hardtop because I can get 360 degree daylight provided there isn't threat of rain. I've had the top down 2-3 times each in January and February. Makes me happy.

Have an E92 wrapped in SMB. In the Hillsboro Tanasbourne area. Gassed it up yesterday and realized I'd only put about 75 miles on it in 2 months. Now that the weather is clearing up (and the car is now coated and rod bearings done), it will be out a lot more.

My runabout car is pretty distinctive, too. Give a wave if you see a 958.1 Cayenne Turbo that's debadged and dark blue.

Great liquid wrapped color E92. Weather will become great and got it out a lot more.
I am currently planning some items on the car and hopefully will get her out on the mid of March.

1. DCT maintanance.
2. Replace the tires.
3. Detailing and coatting the car.
4. Install the Stoptech Brakes.
5. Oil change.

Bumped into a fellow E9x series owner at the store yesterday. He gave me another lead on a shop in PDX that does rod bearings. https://www.matrixintegrated.cc/ Matrix Integrated. They've got a few locations in town.

They did my bearings last week (westside). I gave them a bimmerworld bearing kit, BW motor mounts and an oil change kit (with 10L of oil, just in case). $1700 out the door for everything.

Thanks guys. Matrix westside is pretty close to me. but they are super busy and I have an appointment with them on 3/10( almost 2 weeks from my reservation) for DCT transmission work but probably I will change mind to go other store.

Battery changed today

My M3 was almost 80K miles and before I purchased it and I did a PPI and the inspector said my battery need to be changed. I got the Battery from autozone it is "Duralast Platinum H8-AGM 900" autozone came with 3 years warranty. this must be done to get you peach of mind.

When you finished changing the battery, both driverside and passenger side windows need to be initialized.
