Condensation in tail lights and code

Hey everyone,

Got some heavy rain this past week and when it was raining I had to open my trunk. I'm thinking some water got into the tail light or somewhere it didn't belong.

Anyways, I got this error in my dash. Is this light specifically for tail lights?

Attached pictures of condensation in my tail lights and the error message.

Thank you

Is it working at all?
Try parking in the sun might dry out. Otherwise you may need a new light.

The tail lights work perfectly fine. I guess there just a little sensitive.

Tried to let it dry out in sun, no luck. Also tried a heat gun.

I already ordered new tail lights. Hopefully it clears the code after the new lights are installed.

Take it out and put in a bag or rice.

Might be able to see were the water got in.

Chances is the weather seal is worn out. BMW sells replacement seals if that is the entry point. The link is an example for the E90 one but i'm sure you can navigate to the one you need.
