i ran an mxp exhuast with a challenge street pipe (retains primary cats, gets rid of secondary cats) for a very short while. reason being that it was very very bassy and ridiculously loud. i hated it, but it sounds exactly like what you're asking for.

Scroll through this video to hear my exhaust setup. OEM ACM mod with primary cat delete (resonated test pipes). I have maybe $400 in my exhaust and it's deep down low (but not Mustang 5.0 deep which I hate) and higher pitched up top (a little exotic sounding imo). I get a little pop or backfire on shifts at times which you will get with test pipes but the bad thing about test pipes is you lose the deep tone in the higher revs.

If all you care about is sound I can't recommend the oem mod enough. No need to spend $3000 for sound and minimal hp gains.

You'll enjoy it! Its fairly deep & higher pitched up top. It's the first thing I did to my M a week after I got it. It was $300 total which some even get it done for less. The ACM is exactly the same but you drop close to 50lbs out of the rear of the car loosing the muffler.I could never justify spending thousands on an axle back for maybe 5hp & a "similar" sound seeing how most aftermarket exhaust are straight through anyways.

Im considering getting a second x-pipe to remove the cats and swap back for emissions. Maybe its because I'm young but I really love that bassy sound.

Yeah I'm perfectly fine with the car at the moment just want a deeper tone.

I have this one, the valved system > http://m3world.com.au/product/exhaus...n-with-valves/
Paired with their catted resonated x-pipe > http://m3world.com.au/product/high-flow-catsresonator/

I know they ship to the US and with the exchange rate working in your favour, it's worth your looking into it.
