M3 is very efficient at cooling down?

I am not sure if there are any posts on this already but i have noticed that my m3 does a great job at cooling down very quickly... is it just me? or is it the design of this beautiful v8 power plant?

Yes I definelty agree with you, I forgot to mention that part as well.. it has an ability to reach operating temp very quickly and does like to heat itself up.. but like you said cools down rather quick as well

When you shut the car off there is an AUX fan that will run with the car off and locked. The temps must be higher than normal for this to activate.

It has done this for me as well on hot track days. The fan stays running to help cool it down when it is extremely hot. Usually when the temp gauge is showing 270 degrees or more.

I can always hear my fan running after I shut off and lock my car in garage, dont hear it anywhere else because to much noise.

Check your battery. If it's old and not providing enough power the fan will not turn on at all and throw a code.
