If you don't mind me asking, what spacers will you run with the ZCP rims as the offsets on those are further from ideal for an E90 than the CSL reps? Also, when you get the ZCPs and install them, please post pics as I'd love to see it. I've got a set of ZCPs (with tires) and CSL reps (no tires) I still have from my E46 that I've been debating to sell or keep and install on my E90 but haven't decided yet. There's no hurry considering we're deep into winter weather here now. Good luck with the sale

I will be getting a set of 4 rear ZCP wheels (19" x 9.5" ET27); current CSL reps in the rear are 19" x 9.5" ET22 with the 10mm spacer, making it an effective ET of 12. Rear spacers this time with the ZCPs will be 15mm to get also an effective ET in the rear of 12 so the overall look at the rear fenders will remain the same. Using the rear ZCP wheels in the front require no spacers, as the ET difference between the CSL reps (19" x 8.5" ET20) and the ZCP rears is +8 mm on the outside (18mm in the inside). So the rear ZCP in the front will be more "flush" to the fender line than the current CSL fronts. I tried this "4 ZCP rears" combo when I bought my M3 some 3 months ago and I made the mistake of test fitting at the dealer the ZCP rear wheel in the front of my E90 M3 without any tires and with the car in a lift, so it looked to me that the wheel was going to stick out at that time. The rear ZCP in the rear was no problem that a good spacer could not fix, but I doubted that the rear ZCP in the fronts were going to work. But in between test fitting my current rear CSL reps in the fronts (no sticking out even with an extra 5mm ET over the ZCP's) -and the ZCP rears in the front photos posted in the other thread- convinced me that this was the way to go. I just like too much the concavity of the rear ZCP wheels, and they are OEM which I don't like to mess around with. Last edited by Technic; 01-10-2009 at 02:09 PM.. |

How much do these weigh fronts and rears?

Technic: Wish I saw this post last week. I just ordered and mounted VMR CSL wheels in the same offsets you have on my E90. Seeing your car on the forum inspired me to order your same wheels in M3 fitment! I saved a bunch of pics to my computer. No doubt nothing beats the concavity of the rear wheels. I would love to pick these up for my wife's E90. Currenty I have Miro CSLs with 10mm spacers all around on there, and I like the VMRs more. More concave in the rear.
