FS 2008 E92 Interior (Race Car Conversion) Jacksonville Florida
Guys, Turning the M3 into a full blown racecar with rollcage/full safety. Stripped the interior out this weekend. I have Black leather heated seats, fold down back seat, carbon trims, 2008 Navigation system/DVD, Temp Control, Hifi Amp, Bluetooth Module, etc etc. All airbags and module. Blower motor. Console trims. Door panels, rear quarter inside panels. Dash panel. Headliner. Only thing I am keeping in the steering wheel, the DCT shifter, headlight switch and a few misc pieces needed to run the car. Not sure what the best way to list the stuff is. Hit me with your requests and I will respond soon as I can. I am willing to ship but that doesn't mean everything is cost effective to ship. Thanks, Rich Last edited by rich22; 05-31-2017 at 04:58 PM.. Reason: Location |

OP doing the same to mine, but a few steps behind you. Not something I've done before so must confess to be a little wary of the whole airbag thing. Besides disconnecting the battery and waiting a solid 10 minutes, any tips or DIY posts/videos you can share? Thanks

Airbags - disconnect battery, take a break.
Pull the console up, and disconnect/remove the Airbag Module. At that point, the airbags are not going to deploy on you. Removal isn't that bad, you do have to drill rivots for the curtain bags. |

A lot of guys have asked about the carbon fiber trims - here are some pics I took this morning. I didn't have time to wipe them down but they are in pretty good shape.
