- Higher pitched 'exotic' type sound just like the perforated method but louder in volume (but not insanely loud)

- Don't want to sound like American muscle

- Want HP/TQ gains

- Don't want any catless smells etc since this is a daily driver

- Shedding some exhaust weight would be a nice bonus

Based on my research thus far, I was considering ESS full exhaust with HFC (or is this too similar in volume to what I've got now?) Also looked into maybe Megan catback with test pipes.

Would love to hear any suggestions on various x-pipe/TP/catback combos that would accomplish this! Thanks.
From what i'm reading it's just test pipes and a tune what you are needing ,this will create higher pitched 'exotic' type and will follow your request in sound/type ,and add some HP's .
About the Megan and test pipes that's my personal nr; "1" of sound this sounds realy amazing ,but....sounds more American muscle what you don't like !
BTW...I see and hear why you love the Perforated Oem. exhaust mod. because i have it too and sounds perfect in every way , and both setups don't smell, and if you realy want to shedding some exhaust weight you need to go for Inconel /titanium...MPE with the risks of cracks, and sounds hollow, or Akra/Evo ,and Eisenmann sounds also nice .
Hope this will help

Rear exhaust only Supersprint Race is exotic sounding And no drone

If you want more power, then get X pipe (or test pipes) and stage 2 tune

megan is more muscle car. it does get little harder to keep the M3 from sounding more muscle car because once you go catless the engine is more unfiltered sound.

personally i want a muscle car sound which is why i don't love my current setup, only like it.
