Powder coating forged wheels is not a good idea. It's easy to weaken them if the temperature is too high.

Not a good idea. Plus, you will never achieve the color Volk bronze by powder coating it. Best Bronze color for wheels in my opinion.

18" e88 do not clear Brembo 380. There are very few 18" wheels that do. That kit is a huge PIA for wheels clearance.

These wheels have been sold ^

Now that the sale is complete I worked with the new buyer to replace the rear wheel centers that were machined by the OP. 5mm were machined off of the back pad which compromised the structural integrity / strength of the wheels. BBS and I worked together to help the new owner to replace the centers and get these compromised centers off the road. Machining a BBS center should not be done as there is not excess material available on the back pad of these wheels. BBS does NOT build their wheels with extra material - in other words they do NOT start with one center and machine off material to adjust the offsets. Instead, there are separate part numbers with different center designs to do so - all of which have 10mm between the back of the wheel and lug taper. Reducing the material from 10mm to 5mm is not safe. I don't blame the OP for doing this as I think he was given bad advice by the company who performed the work. I say all of this as an FYI for those in similar situations. Don't do it, there are other options.
