V1's are the first batch of them, not sure why they cracked, some design flaw.
Any good shop can extend the tips for this system, they are 44mm shorter than and E92, so for the saving the mod to E92 would be peanuts. I can't understand why it's not on a car. I've seen this and like everything else Chris does it's mint

Where is the extension needed?
On the muffler tips or on the s-bend pipe?
What about the mounting bolts etc... would you know if they would line up?

Pretty keen but in Syd so don't want to buy unless it'll fit with minimal mods..

Just the tips need extending out, the E92 bumper sticks out further then the E90

yeah mounts up fine, it's like a bee's dick out on the muffler tips.

I have a rear diffuser so was unhappy, but the difference is so minor I shouldn't have bothered.

Probably because I'm lazy and only remember I have it when I use my storage area.

It will fit an E92 you just have to make the tips 44mm longer, everything else is identical

Problem is... not many exhaust shops will be willing to do the modification just to do the tips...it's probably because there's nothing in it for them ... if they do, they'll charge you rediculously... not sure about other States but I find that's the case in Sydney...

I had such a hard time even trying to get the OEM exhaust mod done here...

Extending the tips is VERY easy for any equiped shop for doing exhausts.

I can understand any shop not wanting to do the OEM vasectomy as it's seen as a cheap way to simply increase noise without real design. Sometimes the shop's hourly rate exceeds the value of trying to do this essentially home project style modification. There is justification for this mod as many systems are grossly overpriced, but essentially it's usually temporary fix

It's a bloody simple mod.

Chris maybe take a deposit and you can organise to have the tips modified here. Maybe someone will feel better doing it that way

Guys with a rear diffuser fitted on a E92 this makes the oem length tips sit a tad too far in.

With this E90 muffler on a E92 with a diffuser fitted it would sit perfect IMO!
