Ha why is it that detailers always have dirty cars.

Looks amazing once you took your skills to it! Wow.

Watch out when facing the wheel down! Just a little stone and you can scratch it...

Very kind words from all of you, thank you so much.

So let me guess. The only time you took it out was when you were working on it? Basically the whole 200 hours was broken down in 2 weeks? 3 weeks?

Good job man!
It was actually spread out over 6 months. I drove it when the paint was matte and looked like Frozen Gray.

The paint is a perfect match, the problem is the trunk's design. The angle of the trunk's face is towards an entirely different angle than the rear quarter panel, which means the trunk's face catches an entirely different light source and color tone.

The lip of the wheel stretches in front of the wheel's face, so it's practically impossible for the steel to hit the concrete.

Ive seen your car before parked right by my office in beverly hills. I even took a pic of your plate because I found it hilarious. Great thread man. Did you do this work yourself or did you have someone do it?

Nice detail work on the cleaning, just curious if you are that particular with you car why would you let it get that dirty to begin with? Every time I see dust especially around the shifter I cant help but to wipe it off, even if its just with my finger. Light cleaning here and there takes no more then 5 minutes and keeps the car looking clean at all times Would love to wet sand the car and buff it out. Looks amazing.

Incredible work. Glad you posted this, have been following your thread in the detailing forum and was wondering when you were going to finish it up.

Seeing that o-peel detail shot pisses me off, BMW and their eco paints...

The same reason a lot of mechanics have cars that don't run well. When you spend all day doing something for a living you don't really want to do it when you get home.
