As has been posed before, I would like to know the change of aerodynamic force that is brought on by the change in muffler design which changes how air flows to the rear diffuser.

They do not know
We all want to know yet I guess many of us actually already know that they did no wind tunnel testing nor computational fluid dynamics because most aftermarket companies are in many ways "hacks". That being said monitoring down force and rear differential temperatures would have been a suitable substitute for the two aforementioned activities...but guess what...they did not do that either!

Probably me too. I really like the little (solenoid?) valve on the stock system that keeps it quiet while driving chill and louder while lettin' her rip. Perfectly in line with BMW philosophy for the car of mixing comfort and performance (and aural satisfaction!).
Aftermarket systems could get insanely loud on this car and I don't want anything near as loud as my UUC system on my current car. |

Ditto. What is the purpose and do you worry about back pressure in a NAG engine?
