First off I concur that the net energy and fossil fuel cost is more with a prius than most cars when you account for how many different parts of the world the pieces come from, the energy it takes to make the batteries etc etc.

However I even get if most people do not agree or think otherwise and drive it to be "green"

However what gets me is 90 percent of prius owners speed like crazy in the cars, take off from red lights etc. Absolutely defeats the purpose of them even in concept. With this driving behavior they probably areon par for being as bad for the enviroment as our m3s

What a d-bag...i'm surprised that it's from a maxima driver. I DD a 4th gen maxima and back in the 90s and early 2000s our meets were pretty chill. I met a lot of cool people back then. We've all moved on to higher end cars though and rarely frequent the forums now . Maybe it's this current generation of owners that suck.
