Water Pump
Currently I'm sitting at 156k KMs, I'm wondering when an appropriate time to change the water pump would be?
What are some symptoms that aren't obvious? My friend pointed out my car runs a bit warmer than his. However there could be tons of variables. Would a coolant flush help? I know I'm sorta due for one but not at the same time considering I lost quite a bit doing the thermostat.

Here is a data point for you...I just replaced my water pump while replacing a failing Tstat on my 09 with 92k miles. The old pump still looked absolutely amazing and felt fine when turning by hand.

I replaced mine when it was over 150K miles. I had gotten a low coolant level warning. There was some weeping from the hole on the bottom of the pump. One could see a small amount of coolant when looking with a flashlight.
