Oh I thought you were trying to remove it from the car.
Are you talking about stripping the leather off?

The sliding piece you pull out flip over, unhook the two bars from the latch then push the bars back. The other piece use brute force to pry off its a snap fit piece and it will feel like you're gonna break it. I just recovered mine recently

Yes that's what I'm talking about. The pad removal, I'll show you on this one.
Unlatch the metal bars and push them towards the bushing to remove the sliding pad. Edit: you might have to pull them away from the bushing can't recall. Just know you have to pull them away from home. The static pad gets pryed off. After the pads are removed the covers are stapled on.
