Many customers in UK with our tune. 97 & 98 Ron is no problem. Also you have 99ron at some shell stations, have a tune for 99ron also.
That's great I'll be in touch soon to arrange something thanks.

His stage2 tune "feels" like 50hp, had a nice run with SohoE90 last night and when he drove it he applauded the tune. He will be getting his car tuned once he figures out his exhaust configuration etc...

in my road trip experience, mileage on highway cruises (70-80 mph) increased from stock from 21.5 to 23-24 mpg, that was like 310-320 miles per tank to 350

I'd agree w/ that. mixed use "adult" driving I'm about 19-20, highway I'm 22-24.

Hooning around, all bets are off, I'm closer to 15 lololol

The digital MPG is way off. I just tested my car, said I got 18 mpg when in reality I actually got 12. Next time you completely fill up, reset the trip odometer and calculate it.

My average is not far off, maybe about 1 mpg difference. I record every fill-up, so have nearly a year of data. The computer says about 17 mpg, but I don't check it that often.

Will probably pick up the tune in the near future, and will see if there is much change.

After I got my M3, I did drive it a little hard but I still put some highway miles on it every day. I knew the M3 was a pig but after seeing mileage posts here, I wonder if my car has an issue. This is what I have for records since I got it:

I really hope that after changing to Alex's tune I can get some better mileage!!! When people on here post, is it in US or UK gallons typically?

That, or I need to invest in oil futures...

This is pretty low. When I got around 12 mpg, one of the times I was doing an autocross, and the other was an incomplete fill. The fuel economy is highly dependent on the driving situation and style, I'm about 50:50 highway and city, but everyone does at least 50 mph around town here. Most of the posters seem to be in the US around here, so assume US MPG.

I think going into the tune hoping for increased MPG may lead to disappointment. Go into it for the features, better drivability, power gains and to easily transition into running test pipes. If you happen to get better fuel economy, then that's an additional win. If you are concerned about your fuel economy, start with basic maintenance items. Fresh plugs, maybe coils and run a bit of injector cleaner through.

Yeah, any better mileage will just be a bonus!

Car has 30,000KM on it. Just did the following maintenance:

fresh plugs
cleaned the Dinan air filter
changed the oil

I also swapped the rod bearings and installed test pipes!! Looking forward to the but dyno test once I get the diff back in the car.

I will also hammer some injector cleaner though it once the snow melts. If the mileage stays crap, I will look into the coils.

Cheers,

The E9X suffers with lower end torque. The tune helps by adding in more low end torque and users find themselves pushing the throttle less for daily driving. This help with fuel consumption.

Anyone looking to go with a Stage 2 tune will need to go with a test pipe/X-Pipe mod. Seller is offering this brand new in the box test pipe at 20% off the new price. $75 is a nice savings and a Stage 2 tune is the way to go in my opinion.

He's correct. I'm selling and it's brand spanking new. Box is open and that's about as far as I got. Pipes haven't touched anything other than my hands and the bubble wrap they were packaged in by AA.

Highly recommend Alex's ECU Tune.

I went from running test pipes on an outdated 190E OEM tune, to adding the Alpine ECU tune after with the newest 241E software.
In real world testing, I went from being dead even with my friend's F-Type from a roll, to pulling away from him easily from a roll.
Also, my car feels much smoother throughout the entire power band as well as the noticeable increase in low end torque.

Not to mention the amazing support Alex offers along with the most reasonable pricing of all the vendors.

Let me add myself to the number of happy campers.
Alex seem to have endless patience.

My unique set up ( network wise) and my car that didn't want to cooperate, didn't bring him out of his comfort zone.
For some reason, my DCT didn't want to connect and Alex had a solution the very next t morning.

All went fine and car runs smooth.

I can recommend Alex and his service.

Rainer.
