^^^best 4k you will ever spend. That's that same as I paid for a fidelity 6yr/100k (car had 45k when purchase warranty) exclusionary policy. Which I spent 2 months and countless hours trying to find!

Yeah Carmax has already paid out $4.5K under their 90 day warranty (Maxcare kicks in after that) so I'm definitely glad I have it. I had a good experience with Maxcare on my 335is so I was stalking Carmax for 6 months trying to find a clean M3.

You did pay a lot, but you certainly got a low mileage E92 that is extremely sought after given it's the last year of Production plus it has 6MT and CF roof.
Congrats and I'd love to see some pictures or a link if you already posted some

Just found this thread (also new here)
When purchased: 07/2019 Year and Model: 2008 E92 M3 Miles: 123k Options: Melbourne/Bamboo Beige extended leather, has pretty much every option on the car except heated seats (bought in Dallas) so makes sense Transmission: 6MT Clean carfax, but can tell the front bumper had been repainted and a few other scratches and dings along the car. It was completely bone stock. Bought it from Land Rover/Jaguar dealership for $14K and after tax, title, etc. came out to a little over 15K Since purchase I've replaced the valve cover gasket leak, spark plugs, RBs, motor mounts, and fuel transfer pump, and did a few little things (restored headlights, replaced back windshield tint, blacked out the front grills, and attempted to do my own paint correction lol) she's old, but gold. love driving it whenever I can! |

Think I got a pretty good deal
When purchased: 08/26/20 Year and Model: 2011 E92 M3 Miles: 65,000 Options: Alpine white/Black leather w palladium silver inserts, NAV, Comfort access, Rear PDC, Individual audio and NON power seats. All things that I was looking for. Only thing missing was EDC/ZCP. Car also came w/ M performance exhaust V2 so that was an unexpected surprise. Transmission: DCT Price: $23k Car was in near-perfect condition with all maintenance records. Rod bearings not done but throttle actuators were done. The new (to me) beast: 2011 E90 MT 56k miles
When purchased: 08/20
Year and Model: 2011 E90 M3 Miles: 56k Options: Jerez Black / Fox Red. Tech, cold, comfort access, extra set of Apex wheels, DINAN software, DINAN exhaust, DINAN air intake. Standard stereo system, no EDC. Decent condition, some light cosmetic blemishes and light curb rash. Probably 7.5/10 for both exterior and interior. RB and TA not done. Transmission: 6MT Paid: $38k + $800 shipping from IL to MD I think I overpaid a bit but not outlandish to get almost exactly what I wanted. Value of the smile on my face whenever I rev it and drive this machine: PRICELESS!!!!! |

Congrats and please post some pics when you can
Note: Price might have been slightly high, but as you must know a low mileage E90 6MT is extremely tough to find so a very smart move to jump once you found a clean one Quote:

Can't recall if I posted, but just saw I was subbed here:
bought a year ago: 2008 Jerez Black M3 DCT E93, 98km $15.5k. Seem mostly solid, no rust, Top works well, cold AC, Bluetooth has issues, and the valve cover gasket has a slight leak. Rod bearings were done many moons ago. Someone put a crap battery in that I replaced. Just replaced the alternator over the weekend (wow, much easier than I expected). |

I bought this car for $20.5k. Previous owner bought it new. Great condition. I have all of the service records, window sticker, even the key tag from the dealership with the stock number. Well maintained, and comes with a bunch of great upgrades and the OEM parts.
